Simonette is delicious gold/red coloured apple with wonderful flavour. Texture is crisp and juicy, great to use for fresh eating and juicing. Fruits average between 6 to 7 cm diameter in size. Ripens in early September and keeps for 3 months in cold storage. Originated at the Morden Research Station and distributed through the Prairie Fruit Breeding Cooperative.
