
Simonette is delicious golden red coloured apple with wonderful flavour, akin to a Norkent. The texture is crisp and juicy, great to use for fresh eating and juicing. The Simonette apple averages between 6 to 7 cm (2 1/2") in size. Ripens in early September and keeps for three months in cold storage. Originated at the Morden Research Station and distributed through the Prairie Fruit Breeding Cooperative.
