A favourite among fruit hobbyists in our local area, the Boris Apple, also known as Edmonton Boris Apple, was discovered in an Edmonton backyard belonging to a gentleman named - you guessed it - Boris.
The Boris Apple is sweet with a hint of tartness that creates a fine balance in flavour. Excellent to eat fresh and used for processing, apples will average 6 to 7 cm (2.5') in diameter. Ripens early September and stores for up to a 2 months in cold storage. Beautifully striped colouration of various red hues with white flesh.
We are excited to share this locally discovered unique apple.
