Also known as Edmonton Boris Apple, this is likely an open pollinated seedling that was discovered in an Edmonton backyard belonging to a gentleman named Boris. The apple is sweet with a hint of tartness that creates a fine balance in flavour. A favourite among fruit hobbyists in our local area. It's excellent to eat fresh and also can be used in processing. Apples will average 6 to 7cm in size in diameter. Ripens around early September and stores for about a month in cold storage. We are excited to share this locally discovered unique apple.
