How to Order and Shipping

Trees in the shipping process

How to Order:

We recommend you read each plant's technical descriptions to be well informed of the particularity and optimal hardiness zones for each species you are intending on buying. You will need to think of a good planting location and determine your trees you intend on buying are suitable to your growing zone. You can check this by opening the Plant Hardiness Zone page on the top of our main page. There is a link to the map where you can find your location and determine your growing zone. If you need any help or have questions feel free to contact us.

Shipping Information:

Once you know what trees you want: click on the desired item and add them to your shopping cart. When ready you can go to the shopping cart and finish your purchase. We will send an email to confirm your order. Your trees will be shipped on a Monday to minimize time in freight and should arrive within 7 business days depending on your location and preferred method (Expedited Parcel, Priority or Xpresspost). An email notification with a tracking number will be sent so you can know when to expect your package.

Mail service is our primary method and our preferred mail courier is Canada Post. We ship from mid-April to mid-May each spring, depending on snowmelt as most are trees are in the field. Fall shipping can be done on request but is not recommended and warranty will be voided.

It is recommended to increase your order size to offset your shipping cost, alternately having a friend or two joining your order is a great way to share the cost of shipping.

We also frequent a few spring markets around Edmonton and Calgary where we will sell some plants and trees in person. You can check our Facebook or Instagram pages for upcoming event information.
