Known to be one of the best pears grown in the Ural region of Russia, Favoritka is a large, yellow-green pear with a distinctive pink blush. An excellent variety for fresh eating and preserving, this variety imparts a sweet and savory, buttery flavour. Trees yield a bounty of pears, averaging 200 grams each, and ripen around early to mid-September, with a storage life of up to two months in cold storage.
