Another cold hardy excellent fresh eating plum. It is a deep red plum with bluish bloom that matures in early September. Flesh is firm, juicy and aromatic. Size is 3 to 4 cm. Also great for food processing into jams and pies. Introduced by Agriculture Canada out of Morden, Manitoba in 1939.
