The Red Bounty is a summer-bearing (Floricane) variety of raspberry. It's an improvement from the older prairie standard (Boyne).

The Red Bounty raspberries are large and flavourful, excellent for fresh eating and great for processing. Very productive canes that have raspberries averaging 2 cm (3/4") in diameter, they easily detach when picked. These raspberries ripen by early July and produce all summer long. The Red Bounty rated first place for highest yield in growing trials in Alberta. Canes will require some trellising for support. Released by the University of Saskatchewan in 1999.

Available in bundles of 5 or 10

Growers Note: Canes must be pruned yearly to maintain health and productivenessIn the fall (or early spring before they break dormancy) remove all the two year old (brown and woody) canes. You can go further and thin out excess first old (green) canes until you are left with approx. 3-6” spacing between the remaining canes.
