Patterson Pride is a beautiful plum tree that is known for its unique weeping style formation. Better yet it has heavy yields of sweet and juicy dark red coloured plums. The plums are firm, freestone and average in 4 to 5 cm in size. It is our latest ripening hybrid which is generally good to harvest by mid September. They are excellent to eat fresh off the tree but also great for processing into jam and jelly. Introduced in 1960 by C.F. Patterson at the University of Saskatchewan.
Growers Note:
In some colder regions, fruit may need to be picked prematurely and brought indoors to finish ripening.
