Rosybrook is a sharp flavoured sweet and crunchy crabapple. It's known for having less of a typical crabapple flavour. They have yellowish-green skin, eventually covered with rosy-red colour when fully ripe. These make for a great all purpose apple for dessert, pies, juicing and canning. Makes a fantastic juice. Fruit averages around 4 to 5 cm in size and ripens early to middle of September and keeps up to 3 months in cold storage. Released by the Alberta Horticulture Research Centre in Brooks Alberta in 1980.
