The Wodarz is a renowned and dependable apple from North Dakota. It boasts a yellow-green skin that blushed pink when fully ripe. Its white, dense, sweet flesh makes it ideal for fresh eating and is good for juicing as well. Apples average 7-8 cm (3") and ripen around late September.
Wodarz apples can be stored for up to 3 months in cold storage. This variety was from a seedling apple discovered in a family orchard that was jointly created by the Wodarz family and North Dakota State University.
